Default 2010 a new year, what cars/trucks are available to import?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in 2010 NAFTA allows us to import vehicles from 2001 and older from Mexico?

Anyone interested in any cars/trucks manufactured in 2001 that was not available in Canada? Hilux trucks perhaps?

so far, NAFTA has been completely ignored by the government, so right now you can import vehicles from Mexico built in 1994... 1995 by next year...

If you want a Mexican car, you gotta import it the Mexican way. Just find a field as far away from a Customs office as possible (preferably unfenced) and gun it. Ask the seller for some tips before you pick up the vehicle, hopefully they have some helpful life experience. Keep the Mexican plates to avoid hassles with inspections and registration.

Well it's not really worth it then... I was drooling over the thought of a newer Hilux truck or something. Thanks for the update on the NAFTA situation.
